Join us for a weekly toddler and preschool program designed for curious little explorers! Children will explore the world of science with hands-on activities, including story and music time, and discover basic scientific principles and ideas with different monthly themes.

*Sci-Quest realizes that toddlers (ages 2-3) have little to no experience in formal classroom activities. Therefore, it is necessary for an adult caregiver to participate alongside the child.


Monthly Themes and Dates

September – Your Health Matters!
As we learn about the amazing things our bodies can do, we’ll also discover that our bodies, like all living things, need special care. Children will investigate how germs are spread and how things we cannot see can make us feel yucky. 

9/15 – Nutrition

October – Science Skills
Science tools help us observe, describe, and quantify our world. Children will feel like a real scientist as they use a variety of equipment from magnifying glasses to microscopes. Get those lab skills ready early!

November – Space
3, 2, 1 . . . blastoff! Children will explore the universe as they learn about space travel, space rocks and some of the amazing discoveries that are a result of the space program.

11/3 – Solar System

December – Winter Wonderland
The weather outside might be frightful, but inside we’ll be dashing through the snow as we explore seasonal science. Join us as we transform Sci-Quest into a winter wonderland. 

12/1 – Life in the Antarctic

January – Let’s Keep It Simple
This month, children will be encouraged to problem solve ways to move heavy objects or lift heavy loads. After using a simple machine, your child will say, “I know I can” instead of “I think I can.”

February – It Makes Sense to Me!                                          
Many children can tell you that they see with their eyes or hear with their ears, but how do these senses really work? Children will use hands-on activities to try and make some sense of their senses.

March – Seussical Science
Who knew that Dr. Seuss was a scientist? From Green Eggs and Ham to Bartholomew and the Oobleck, there are lots of science snippets to be snapped up and lots of thinking to be thunk. Join us as we explore seussical science.

April – It’s Not Magic, It’s Science!
Is it magic or is it science? Your little Houdini will witness super science spells as we conjure with chemicals, fool the eye with illusions, and sneak in some slight-of-hand tricks. Be ready to be mesmerized by your mini-magician!

May – Animal Antics!
These classes have gone to the dogs…and cats. Join us as we jump into an in depth study of our favorite domestic animals. Be careful, your child may just want to take one home.

Program Registration & Cancelation

  • Participants must be pre-registered for all programs. Registration on the day of the program may be allowed only if space and supplies are available.
  • No refunds will be given to participants who do not attend their scheduled program without prior notice as outlined below.
  • All cancelations must be received 2 weeks in advance for camps and 2 business days in advance for single day programs to receive a refund, less a 20% administrative fee per camp/class.  Single programs include single day public programs, Home School Science, Sprouting Scientists, Parents’ Night Out and Camp Care.  A customer may choose to receive credit for a future class instead of a refund.
  • Cancelations less than 2 weeks of a scheduled camp will be provided credit for a future program
  •  Cancelations less than 2 business days for any registered program will not receive a refund or future credit.
  • Sci-Quest reserves the right to cancel any program if a minimum number of participants are not registered. If this happens, another class option or 100% of registration fees will be refunded.
