DNA is the chemical blueprint for every living thing in our world. In this program, participants will learn about the structure and function of DNA. Extract DNA from strawberries to take home.
Propulsion

Participants will create an air rocket that launches across the room and engineer a way for a payload to return safely to Earth. This hands-on workshop explores the science behind rockets and space exploration. Use your imagination to plan, build, and test your own design.
Let it Fly
Length: 45 minutes
Cost: $5 per student
Your creativity will launch as you build your own catapult using the engineering design process. Participants will be challenged to plan, create and improve their catapult as they complete this challenge.
